Concordia University, Nebraska had the highest number of National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics scholar-athletes in the nation for the 2008-09 academic year. Seventy-four Bulldogs earned the NAIA scholar-athlete status, 16 more than second place University of St. Francis, Fort Wayne, Ind.

Jack Holmberg and Jamie Dillard were named to the 2009 GPAC All-conference team while Morgan Blatnik, Zach Goodrich, Casey Rodriguez and Jacob Yurich all earning honorable mention status.

After winning four of their last six games, the Concordia University baseball team dropped three of their last four to finish the 2009 season in 11th place in the GPAC.
