    Wrestling lands inside NWCA All-Academic top 10

    The Concordia wrestling program has landed another top 10 ranking on the NWCA All-Academic Teams list. Led by Walker Fisher, the Bulldogs who were submitted to the NWCA combined for a 3.11 GPA.

    Despite a strong push at No. 2 singles by Luke Zoller, the Concordia men's tennis team came up empty in a 9-0 loss at Hastings on Tuesday (April 24). The Bulldogs are still searching for their first GPAC win.

    A red-hot week at the plate allowed junior Thomas Sautel to rake in GPAC player of the week accolades. He's the fourth Bulldog to earn a weekly award from the conference this season.

    Hometown Heath delivers walk-off in Monday split

    Kenna Heath delivered the walk-off hit to help Concordia salvage a split with Dakota Wesleyan on Monday (April 23). Two extra-inning affairs resulted in a total of 18 innings played at Plum Creek Park.

    Deterding, Williams cap Dutcher Memorial with wins

    Jessica Deterding and Cody Williams emerged from the Jim Dutcher Memorial hosted by Doane with wins in the multi-events. Both athletes rank in the top 10 of the NAIA in their respective events.

  • The Concordia men's golf team will go into the final round of the GPAC championships in fifth place. Individually, Nolan Zikas is in good position for another all-conference honor. The action will continue Tuesday (April 24).

    Bulldogs set for final regular-season push

    The regular season will wind down with three more home doubleheaders for the Concordia baseball team, which has hopes of rising up the GPAC standings. The seniors will be honored on Saturday.

  • Eight games are coming up this week for the Concordia softball program, which will attempt to improve its standing within the conference. Hhana Haro, now the school record holder for doubles in a season, is red hot.

    Grove, Platt turn in new 'A' standards

    Taylor Grove (marathon) and Tucker Platt (pole vault) both achieved new automatic national qualifying marks while competing at separate meets on Sunday (April 22).

    Walk-off Sunday

    In a wild Sunday at Plum Creek Park, the Bulldogs (22-17, 10-10 GPAC) celebrated two walk-off wins over Doane. Concordia rallied from a 5-0 deficit in game one and ended up taking three of four in the weekend series.

  • Hhana Haro has not let up. The Garden Grove, Calif., native collected five more hits as part of a doubleheader split at Mount Marty on Saturday (April 21). The Bulldogs took the second game, 10-2.

    Meza spurs game one win at Doane

    Christian Meza went 4-for-4 in leading a game one victory over Doane in Saturday's (April 21) doubleheader in Crete. The Bulldogs (20-17, 8-10 GPAC) and Tigers will complete a four-game series on Sunday.
