Concordia University Athletic Hall of Fame induction criteria
General Criteria:
- Criteria and qualifications will be based primarily upon the candidate's participation while attending or serving Concordia. However, accomplishments after leaving Concordia may be an important point of consideration.
- All candidates shall have displayed fine character and a commitment to the ideals and Christian principles to which Concordia adheres.
Specific Criteria for Athlete Nominations:
- Candidate must have had outstanding athletic achievement at Concordia.
- Candidate must be a graduate of Concordia University, Nebraska and must have been out of college for at least five years. (Graduate criteria may be waived by the Board)
Specific Criteria for Coaching Nominations:
- Candidate must have been on the Concordia staff for at least five years.
- Candidate Candidate must have had outstanding achievements at during his or her career at Concordia.
- Five years must elapse after active coaching tenure at Concordia.
Specific Criteria for Team Nominations:
- A team shall be eligible for induction as one inductee. The induction of a team shall not prohibit the separate induction of one or more of its members.
Specific Criteria for Other Nominations:
- Individuals other than athletes, coaches and temas may be considered for induction. Examples would include managers, officials, athletic trainers, medical doctors, threapaists, administrators, etc. Consideration for selection should be based on the unique contributions the candidate has made to Concordia athletics.
