Thursday, August 21:
The Concordia University practiced under a gloomy sky but spirits were high as the bulldogs hit day 7 of the 2008 fall camp. The Bulldogs had a special visitor to camp today; Bill Lafluer. Lafluer was the University of Nebraska's starting punter in 1998 before moving on to the NFL, splitting time between the San Diego Chargers and San Francisco 49ers. Lafluer spent the majority of the day working with the Bulldog Punters and Kickers. The rest of the Bulldogs prepared for the first scrimmage of the season that will take place tomorrow, Friday, August 22.










Tuesday, August 19:
The Concordia football team has settled into the two-a-day practice grind and is working toward the first scrimmage of camp. The Bulldogs are in the routine of practicing in the morning cool on the grass practice field before enduring the heat of the stadium turf field in the afternoons. The freshman and new comers still look to be trying to find a place while the large number of returners looks to be strengthening.













Monday, August 18:
The Concordia football team has settled into the two-a-day practice section of the preseason schedule. The Bulldogs finished testing Saturday morning before donning the pads in the afternoon as well as Sunday. Today the Bulldogs started out on the grass and will move to the turf for the afternoon's practice.







Saturday, August 16:
The Concordia Football team wrapped up its preseason testing this morning with the short sprints and the agility training. The Bulldogs will practice with pads for the first time this afternoon.




Friday, August 15:
The Concordia Football team officially kicked off its pre season camp today as the veterans and newcomers made their way to campus. The freshman and newcomers had a full day of odds and ends as part of being new to Concordia as a new student as well as being new to the Concordia Football program. Freshman (as well as returners) had gear to check out and physical testing to be completed. The Bulldogs will hit the practice field for the first time as a team tomorrow morning, August 16, with the first two practice day of camp. The Bulldogs will complete the weekend with a three hour practice Sunday and will settle into a normal camp routine beginning Monday.
