Concordia Invitational Tournament 2010
Concordia University Wisconsin will host the 59th annual Concordia Invitational Tournament Jan. 29-30. The traveling tournament features the Concordias of Seward, Neb., Ann Arbor, Mich., River Forest, Ill., and Mequon, Wis., competing in both men's and women's basketball. CIT is one of the longest running tournaments in the country, and it is a highlight of the athletic year among the participating Concordias. [

Bulldogs to defend 2009 titles Concordia University, Nebraska won both the men's and women's Concordia Invitational Tournament championship games in 2009. In the championship games, the Concordia Nebraska women's team made quick work of a rebuilding Concordia University Chicago, winning 76-42, and the Concordia Nebraska men held on for a 61-60 victory over Concordia University Wisconsin. It was the first time since 2005 that both titles have been won by the Bulldogs. Concordia Nebraska's Whitney Stichka became only the second athlete to win CIT most valuable player honors three times.
