The Degree Completion Program is dedicated to helping adults continue their learning by offering educational programs developed specifically for working professionals. Obtaining a college degree is not only a dream for many adults, but also a necessity in order to succeed and advance in the professional world.
The Concordia University Degree Completion Program gives adults the opportunity to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Gerontology while continuing to work and maintain a family and social life. Certificates are available in Worship Arts or Gerontology. DCP students are eligible to receive all minors listed in the undergraduate catalog.
Course locations and formats
These classes meet on-site one night a week or online. Most classes are currently 8 weeks in length. Face-to-face classes meet in Lincoln, Neb., and Columbus, Neb. Class time is from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The program can also be completed by taking a combination of courses online and in a face-to-face setting. This hybrid allows working adults to obtain a bachelor’s degree no matter where they are located or how busy their schedules are. The same courses offered at our on-site locations are offered online and in most cases taught by the same faculty. These online classes are combined with significant in-person educational experiences.
