    Ellen Hente ’11

Concordia's Education Program equipped me with the knowledge, skills, and compassion to succeed as a servant leader in the church and world. The experience that I gained here has prepared me for my future position as a teacher, and has helped me to be confident in my abilities in that role and has strengthened my thought that teaching is my vocation.

    Caleb Egger ’11

During my time at Concordia, my knowledge of middle school and junior high students grew tremendously, through very specific classes, field experience and student teaching. I was very blessed to find a university that offered a major for those wanting to teach in middle level grades. What a wonderful calling, and a great group of friends I met along the way!

Caleb is a 7th grade teacher at St. Paul's Lutheran School in Fremont, Neb.

    Celeste Brutus ’11

My experiences with the Middle Level program at Concordia University truly solidified my love for teaching and working with adolescents. The real world experience in combination with the practice I received in my methods classes helped me form an educational philosophy that reflects my beliefs as Christian and a teacher who fosters the development of the whole child. The knowledge gained from my professors as well as my fellow classmates will come in handy for years to come. The friendships formed here will lead to a lifetime of learning and collaboration for the betterment of the educational experiences for students across the country, and perhaps even the world.
