Kristy Jurchen has been teaching chemistry at Concordia since August 2005. Prior to her arrival at Concordia, she taught chemistry at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign beginning in the fall of 2003. As part of her role on the chemistry faculty, Dr. Jurchen serves as chemical hygiene officer for the science building. Dr. Jurchen's research interests include chemical education, bioinorganic chemistry, and environmental chemistry.
