Jen Janousek has taught at Concordia University since 2001 in the Health and Human Performance (HHP) department. Janousek was the Chair of the HHP department from 2011 to 2013 and now serves as the Program Director for the Masters of Public Health.  Before coming to Concordia, Janousek worked at Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, Neb.

Janousek is a member of the Public Health Association of Nebraska (PHAN), the American Public Health Associatoin (APHA), and the Society of Public Health Education (SOPHE). Her dissertation research focused on college women's knowledge, attitudes, beliefs, and predictors of acceptance of the HPV vaccine. Janousek is passionate about global health and short-term missions and has led several groups of students on health mission trips to Guatemala.
