Profile

Jen Janousek has taught at Concordia University part-time since 2001 in the Health and Human Performance department. Before coming to Concordia, Janousek worked full-time at Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, Neb., as the Director of Intramurals and taught part-time in the Health and Human Performance Department.

Janousek is a member of the Nebraska Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (NAHPERD), Public Health Association of Nebraska (PHAN), and the American Public Health Associatoin (APHA). Her dissertation research focused on college women's knowledge, attitudes, beliefs, and predictors of acceptance of the HPV vaccine. Janousek is passionate about global health and short-term missions and has led a group of students on a health mission trip to Guatemala.
