Profile

Jen Janousek has taught at Concordia University since 2001 in the Health and Human Performance (HHP) department. Janousek has been the Chair of the HHP department since 2011 and serves as the Associate Program Director for the Masters of Public Health.  Before coming to Concordia, Janousek worked at Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, Neb.

Janousek is a member of the Nebraska Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (NAHPERD), Public Health Association of Nebraska (PHAN), and the American Public Health Associatoin (APHA). Her dissertation research focused on college women's knowledge, attitudes, beliefs, and predictors of acceptance of the HPV vaccine. Janousek is passionate about global health and short-term missions and has led a group of students on a health mission trip to Guatemala.
