A Place at the Table showing
This documentary film raises questions about the state of hunger in America and illustrates how hunger poses economic, social and cultural implications for our nation.
The film showing is free and open to all—students, staff, faculty and the Seward community. Several door prizes for film goers will be given away.
Before and after the film, from 6:30 to 7 p.m. and 8:30 to 9 p.m. in TLEC Mainstreet, information tables will be available to connect attendees with representatives from six area organizations that help those struggling with hunger and poverty. They will be on hand to share information about their efforts and how others can become involved.
