Books for kids, teachers, parents and more were on sale for half price at Concordia's annual Scholastic book fair April 7-10.
“The fair is held each year to give our students, the campus community and the Seward community the opportunity to purchase good books at one-half their regular price,” Dr. Leah Serck said. Serck, an emeritus professor of education and current adjunct instructor, has organized the book fair for many years, recruiting local volunteers and retired teachers to help run the event.
The fair offers a variety of children’s books and junior fiction titles. Advanced orders are not accepted, but books may be reordered if copies at the book fair are out of stock.
