Concordia recognizes 58 faculty members and employees for their service to the university

On Monday, Jan. 30, 2017, Concordia University, Nebraska recognized milestones of faithful service for 39 faculty members and employees, as well as 19 commissioned and ordained ministers at a special anniversary service on campus.

In addition to the Concordia faculty members and employees, ordained and commissioned ministers of The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod (LCMS) celebrating their service anniversaries were honored during chapel on Jan. 30, 2017, in the Weller Chapel Auditorium on Concordia’s campus.

“Each of the persons we recognized and honored this year is a special blessing to the Concordia community,” said Rev. Dr. Brian Friedrich, president of the university. “I thank God for all of them and for the special gifts, talents and abilities He has given them to use in service to our students. Without these gifted colleagues, Concordia would not be the vibrant place of learning and ministry that it is!”
