Concordia holds viewing of "The Raising of America" and panel discussion

Concordia University, Nebraska, the Public Health Association of Nebraska (PHAN) and Four Corners Health Department invite the public to a screening of the first episode of “The Raising of America: Early Childhood and the Future of Our Nation” followed by a panel discussion on April 13, 2016, at 7 p.m. in Thom Leadership Education Center auditorium on campus at Concordia.

According to raisingofamerica.org, the series “interweaves the latest discoveries from neuroscience with the stories of families and communities doing all they can to provide the nurturing environments all babies and young children need to thrive.”

The panel discussion will take place following the hour-long video with guests Senator Mark Kolterman of District #24, Kathy Carter, APRN and MSN from Doctors of Children in Lincoln, Nebraska, and Chrissy Tonkinson, MPH of Voices of Children in Omaha, Nebraska.
