In 1959 Jesse Hall was still a men's dormitory and Elvis and Frankie Avalon ruled the charts. Gas cost about 25 cents a gallon. More than 25 members of the college class of '59 and their spouses were welcomed to campus this week for their golden reunion.
On Friday the class of '59 were honored guests at ribbon-cutting ceremonies for the Health, Human Performance and Athletic Center arena. On Saturday these honored alumni will lead the procession of graduates at commencement ceremony.
