Concordia's Chamber Choir will conclude its recent concert tour with a performance at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward on Sunday, Feb. 15, at 3 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.
Earlier this month the choir, a select, 16-member group, gave concerts and performed at other events in Nebraska, Wyoming and Colorado. The Chamber Choir's repertoire covers a wide range of classical and contemporary chamber choral works.
"These students have great vocal flexibility as they perform chamber choral works from all historical periods as well as vocal jazz selections," Dr. Kurt von Kampen, associate professor of music and director of the choir.
Choir members are selected from the 72-member University A Cappella Choir and include both music majors and non-majors.
