The Concordia University men’s basketball team picked up an impressive 75-71 victory over NAIA Division I No. 1 Robert Morris on Saturday evening.  It was the first-ever win over a top-ranked team by a Concordia men's basketball team.  The Bulldogs improved to 3-2 on the season with the win.  The Eagles dropped to 1-3 with the loss. 

Robert Morris held a 39-38 lead at halftime, but Concordia rallied in the second half for the win.  The Eagles connected on 26-of-68 from the field on the night for 38.2 percent and made just 6-of-21 from the three point line and 13-of-21 from the free throw line.  Concordia hit 25-of-62 shots on the evening for 40.3 percent.  The Bulldogs were 4-of-13 from behind the three point line and 21-of-30 at the charity stripe. 

Concordia’s Sam Huebner led the way with a double-double of 20 points and 11 boards.  Dustin Weber added 18 points, five rebounds and a game-high three assists for the Bulldogs.  Evan Kucera also chipped in with 12 points off the bench for Concordia. 

Robert Eppinger had 21 points and 11 rebounds for Robert Morris in the loss.  Robert Jones added 19 points, and Ricardo Laing delivered 17 points for the Eagles. 

Concordia returns to action on Nov. 12-14 when they host the Cattle Classic Tournament in Seward.
