The Concordia University women's tennis team easily moved past the Hastings College Broncos Tuesday afternoon in Seward, Neb.

Hannah Krueger won a tie-break in No. 1 singles over Alexia Spencer. Krueger dropped the first set 7-5 before taking the second set 7-6 and winning the tie- break 10-5. Heather Jackson cruised in No. 2 singles, beating Ashley Potzeba 6-0 and 6-3. Taylor Cook also had to win a tie-break to defeat Erica Herrera in No. 3 singles. Herrera took set one 6-3 before Cook came back to win set two 7-6 and the tie-break 10-8. Kim Francis was victorious in No. 4 singles defeating Stacy Fausset in straight sets, 6-4 and 6-4. The Broncos were able to win both the No. 5 and No. 6 singles matches as Cammie Koopman downed Concordia's Faith Ahlman 6-4 and 6-4 in No. 5 singles while Stephanie Larson defeated Colleen Freudenberg 7-5, 1-6 and 10-4.

The Bulldogs took two of the three doubles matches, beginning with the tandem of Krueger and Cook defeating Spencer and Herrera 8-5. Jackson and Francis worked quickly through Potrzeba and Koopman 8-1 in No. 2 doubles. Concordia's Ahlman and Freudenberg were then defeated 8-1 by the team of Hogan and Armstrong from Hastings.

Concordia is now 7-1 overall and 3-0 in the GPAC while Hastings is 4-2 overall and 3-1 in the GPAC.

Next action for the Bulldogs comes April 16 as Concordia welcomes Doane College to Seward, Neb. with the match set to begin at 4 p.m.
