The Concordia University, Nebraska men picked up a gigantic road victory over the Dakota Wesleyan Tigers, 2-1 in overtime, Saturday afternoon at Caldwell Park in Mitchell S.D.

The win moves the Bulldogs to 5-9-1 overall and 4-6-1 in the GPAC and keeps Concordia in the 7th place position in the GPAC standings. The Bulldogs' hopes of playing in the GPAC post-season tournament remain alive with only two regular season games left. The loss drops the Tigers to 4-11-1 overall and 2-7-1 in the GPAC.

The Tigers got on the scoreboard first when Lance Mohr found the back of the net off a kick from Juan Baltazar in the 19th minute. Mohr's goal would be the only one that freshman keeper Alex McKamy would allow on the day.

"Alex (McKamy) played like a seasoned veteran out there today," said head coach Jason Weides. "He made a number of key saves that kept us in the game,"

The Bulldogs would get the equalizer in minute 57 as Kolt O'Kelly, assisted by his twin brother Kurt, beat Dakota Wesleyan keeper Jordan Werner to tie the game at 1-1.

The Tigers had a chance to take the lead late in the game as they were awarded a penalty kick with five minutes remaining in regulation, but McKamy made the stop of the season to send the contest into overtime.

Kolt O'Kelly notched the game winner four minutes into overtime off an assist from George Lara Jr.

The next action for Concordia will be Wednesday, Oct. 29, as the Bulldogs will take on the University of Sioux Falls Cougars at Bulldog Stadium in Seward, Neb., at 7 p.m.
