The Concordia University, Nebraska men's soccer team dropped its third straight match in a 3-0 defeat to the Nebraska Wesleyan Prairie Wolves Wednesday night at Bulldog Stadium in Seward, Neb.
The Prairie Wolves needed most of the first half to get on the scoreboard as Brad Fullerton beat Concordia goalkeeper Alex McKamy in the 39th minute. Concordia, playing without forward Kolt O'Kelly, struggled on offense. Their scoring threat took yet another hit when Aaron Skipworth rolled his ankle and was done for the evening. Concordia managed only four shots.
Jordan Green added a goal in the 82nd minute off an assist from Emmanuel Viel and Fullerton scored again in the 88th minute, assisted by Cyrus Jaffery to give the Prairie wolves the 3-0 victory.
The loss drops the Bulldogs to 4-9-1 overall and 3-5-1 in the GPAC. Nebraska Wesleyan moves to 10-5-0 overall and 7-2-0 in the GPAC.
The Bulldogs will next be in action this Saturday, Oct., 25 in Mitchell, S.D., as Concordia takes on Dakota Wesleyan at 3 p.m.
