The Concordia University volleyball team was swept in three straight sets (25-9, 25-11, 25-8) by the Doane College Tigers Wednesday night in Crete, Neb.
The Bulldogs were held in check offensively with only 11 kills on 71 attempts in the three set match. The Tigers, on the other hand, amassed 39 kills on 74 attempts with only eight errors. Doane also tallied 14 service aces on the evening.
The loss drops the Bulldogs to 5-17 overall and 2-7 in GPAC play while the win moves the Tigers to 19-6 overall and 6-3 in the GPAC.
The next action for the Bulldogs comes Tuesday, Oct. 21, as Concordia makes the short trip to Lincoln, Neb. to take on the Nebraska Wesleyan Prairie Wolves at 7:30 p.m.
