The Concordia University dropped a home contest Saturday afternoon to the Dordt College Defenders in three games, 25-15, 25-22, 27-25, at the Doghouse in Seward, Neb. "We played a good team well for the most part," said head coach Rachel Miller. "The biggest thing that hurt us was letting them go on a few big runs in each game. I was pleased with our defense and the production from our outsides."
The Bulldog offense was led by Kelsey Affolter and Lauryn Nyhoff who each totaled nine kills for the match. The defense was led by Heidi Zoucha with 17 digs while Nyhoff added 12 digs.
The loss drops the Bulldogs to 5-16 overall and 2-6 in the GPAC while Dordt moves to 22-5 overall and 6-2 in GPAC play.
The Bulldogs will travel to Crete, Neb., on Wednesday, Oct. 15, to take on the Doane College Tigers at 7:30 p.m.
