The Concordia University, Nebraska volleyball team got back on the winning track Friday night with a 3-0 (25-14, -22, -15) victory over the York College Panthers at the Doghouse in Seward, Neb. The Bulldogs used a strong performance from junior outside hitter Kelsey Affolter, who netted eight kills on 18 attempts, while Lauryn Nyhoff's eight digs shored up Concordia's defense.
"It was a good win for us," said head coach Rachel Miller. "I was happy to see our aggressiveness at the serving line and finishing with more aces than errors on the night. Our strong showing at the net is something we need to continue."
The Bulldogs will continue their homestand this week, as the Nebraska Wesleyan Prairie Wolves visit for a 7:30 p.m. matchup on Tuesday, Sept. 23.
