Dr. Ron Bork, dean of the College of Education, began serving a two-year term as chairman of the Nebraska Association of Colleges of Teacher Education, the state affiliate of the American Association of Colleges of Teacher Education. As chair, he will lead the review of teacher education programs and coordinate efforts to improve the preparation of teacher education candidates in Nebraska.

Kayla Anderson was named Student Teacher of the Year by the Nebraska English Language Arts Council. Anderson worked in the classrooms of Seward High School to complete her student teaching requirement.
