Concordia's health center
Concordia's health center services are available to all students, full and part-time, at no cost.
The health center is dedicated to providing basic, high quality, holistic health care that is easily accessible and responsive to your health needs. We also strive to encourage your continued growth in health care consumerism.
At the health center we are here to help you recover from illness, but we also want to go beyond that by helping students learn how to prevent health-related problems and to achieve optimal wellness.
Everything you strive to do is easier if you are feeling well.

Notes from the health center
Swine flu update
Symptoms of the swine flu are similar to seasonal flu and may include fever, weakness, coughing and lack of appetite. It is contagious and the best way to prevent swine flu is to follow these steps:
- Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or sleeve when you cough or sneeze; throw the tissue away after you use it.
- Wash your hands with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze; alcohol-based hand cleansers are also effective.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
- Avoid contact with ill persons.
- If you think you are ill with the flu, stay at home. Do not go to work, school or travel while ill.
The CDC website has the most up-to-date information on the swine flu. For more information go to the CDC swine flu web pages.
Concordia's H1N1 (swine) flu impact page is available. When necessary, that page will list changes to Concordia events or courses because of the flu.
