Note to graduate students
Friday, May 9, 7:30 p.m. Baccalaureate Service at St. John Lutheran Church Graduates are invited to join the undergraduate students at the baccalaureate service. Graduates will wear academic gowns and caps but not hoods, and will process and sit together as a class. Please assemble no later than 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall (lower level) of St. John Lutheran Church. There will be a reception immediately following the baccalaureate service in the St. John Fellowship Hall.
Saturday, May 10, 10:30 a.m. Commencement Service
Graduation for master's degree students will be held on Saturday, May 10, at 10:30 a.m. in the P.E. building. This ceremony will include master's degree students as well as students receiving a bachelor of science in education or DCE specialist degree.
Saturday, May 10, Luncheon
A luncheon will be served to all graduates and their guests at the Janzow Campus Center Dining Hall after the ceremony, courtesy of Concordia University. (Time: approximately 12:00 p.m.)

Where do I pick up my cap, gown and hood?
Master's degree students should pick up their cap, gown and hood at the Concordia Bookstore prior to the graduation ceremony. Students should have placed an order with either the graduate office or the Concordia Bookstore to rent or purchase their hood.
Where do we meet on Saturday morning?
All master's degree students should meet in the Thom Leadership Education Center building in room 201 by 10 a.m. Students will put on their hoods prior to the graduation ceremony and wear them during the procession and ceremony.
Do I need to attend the rehearsal on Friday?
No, master's degree students are not required to attend the rehearsal.
Where do I return my rented gown and hood?
Your rented gown and hood must be returned to the weight room in the P.E. building or to the Concordia Bookstore immediately after the ceremony on Saturday, May 10.
