Welcome from the President

Thank you for taking time to learn about Concordia University, Nebraska. We look forward to getting to know you and how we might help you meet your educational and career goals. As you learn more about us, we want you to know a few things about us!

  • Nearly 90 percent of our health professions and pre-law graduates are accepted by medical and law colleges.
  • We are the leader in placing students in the professional ministries of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
  • Concordia is the No. 1 Nebraska school in the Midwest region of best baccalaureate colleges in 2008 U.S. News & World Report survey, America's Best Colleges.
  • 2007-08 was the fifth consecutive year we led the Great Plains Athletic Conference in the number of NAIA scholar athletes.

  • Last year we awarded more than $8.7 million in scholarship aid to our students.
  • In June 2009 the University A Cappella Choir will travel to Spain.
