
Commencement 2010
Concordia University, Nebraska will hold commencement Saturday, May 8, in the Health, Human Performance and Athletic Center.
The speaker for the ceremony will be Dr. Ron Pfeiffer, vice chair and professor of neurology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
On Friday, May 7, a baccalaureate service is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church. Rev. Dr. Mark Zehnder, senior pastor of King of Kings Lutheran Church in Omaha, Neb., will serve as preacher. The liturgist will be Rev. Ryan Matthias. Music for the ceremony will be provided by Dr. Jeffrey Blersch, organist, Concordia organ students, University A Cappella Choir and Concordia Brass Ensemble.
Following the service will be a reception hosted at the church by Concordia's Tower Guild, and there will be a short concert by the A Cappella Choir and several organ students.
