Parking
Commencement will be held at Concordia's gymnasium, located on the northeast side of the campus (at the intersection of
Hillcrest Dr. and Plainview Ave.).
Information especially for visitors with disabilities
Parking for the disabled is available on the north side of the gym.
If you have a disability and will attend a commencement ceremony, please arrive approximately one hour before commencement begins. We will gladly remove chairs to accommodate wheelchairs so that you may be seated with other members of your party. Since seating on the floor of the gym is extremely limited and aisles must be kept free in the event of evacuation, we strongly encourage your early arrival.

Letter from Dean of Student Services to parents
Dear Parents:
Congratulations! You have arrived at a significant time in your life. Pending the success of current course work, your son/daughter is going to graduate from Concordia University and commence to a new life. We share with you the pride of their accomplishment, growth and development over the past few years.
To celebrate this significant achievement, the Graduation Social Committee has planned activities that we hope will contribute to a memorable commencement weekend for you. Please check the graduation weekend schedule posted online for assistance in making plans.
Two commencement services will be held this year, at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Students receiving a bachelor of arts degree, bachelor of science degree, bachelor of music degree or bachelor of fine arts degree will participate in the 8 a.m. service; students receiving a bachelor of science in education, DCE specialist, or master’s degrees will participate in the 10:30 a.m. service.
We look forward to celebrating this accomplishment with you.
In Christ,
Michelle J. Chaffee,
