Healthy weight info
Initially when people attempt to lose weight they often turn to fad or trend diets. These types of diets promise success but often don't lead a person down the path to healthy eating for a lifetime. The best plan for achieving a healthy weight is to eat a healthy diet balanced with physical activity. For helpful specific information, go to www.healthierus.gov/dietaryguidelines/.
Another site to help you be successful is www.smallstep.gov. This site gives plenty of practical information, realistic tools to help you achieve a more nutritious diet and physical activity, and provides inspiring stories for encouragement.
Celebrate your unique body as a gift from God, made in His image for His purpose and glory. There is no one perfect body shape or size! What God creates is good and perfect. Therefore, respect your body and help others to respect and celebrate who they are in Christ. Care for your body and strive for a healthy body.
