Strong shooting and stifling defense in Saturday's Concordia Invitational Tournament championship game were the ticket to victory for the 8th-ranked Concordia University, Nebraska women's basketball team. Patience played a part as well, as the Concordia-Ann Arbor Cardinals jumped out to an early lead that wouldn't be overcome by the Bulldogs until the 10-minute mark of the first half. The Bulldogs shrugged off the early deficit and rolled to a 77-55 victory.
