University-Community Band

The University-Community Band is an outreach to the community. Made up of students and area community members, the band meets once a week to prepare music for their several concerts a year.

During Concordia's spring and fall semesters, rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings from 7 - 9 p.m. at Concordia’s Music Center.

Joining the band

The band is under the direction of Dr. William Kuhn, director of instrumental music at Concordia, and is open to Concordia students, adults in the community and, with the recommendation of their high school director, advanced high school students.

There is no fee required for membership in the band.
