Freshman merit scholarships

Freshman merit scholarships are available exclusively to students who are first-time college attendees. Students will automatically be considered upon acceptance. Financial need is not required.

Use the calculator (right) to see what merit scholarship you may be eligible for. Please note that merit scholarships are only awarded upon acceptance to Concordia which requires an official high school transcript and test score.

Need-based grants

Institutional, federal and state need-based grants are available to all incoming students based on demonstrated financial need and vary in amount. In order to be eligible for need-based aid, the student must show demonstrated financial need by filing The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) annually.

Concordia recommends completing the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov as soon as possible after January 1. Concordia’s federal school code is 002541 and must be included in the application in order for Concordia to receive a student’s FAFSA results. Awarded merit scholarships are taken into consideration when determining need-based grant levels.

Additional aid

Additional aid such as athletic and performance scholarships are also available. Please see the scholarships page for more information.
