A Cappella Choir on tour

The University A Cappella Choir will tour the upper Midwest for a week in March 2008. Concerts, assemblies and clinics will be given at area churches and schools.

The premier choir at Concordia, the A Cappella Choir will perform a variety of sacred and secular choral anthems representative of many historical periods. Included in the program will be works by J. S. Bach, Felix Mendelssohn, Gabriel Faure, Paul Manz, John Rutter, Mack Wilberg, Eric Whitacre, Moses Hogan, William L. Dawson and others. This 70-member ensemble is conducted by Kurt E. von Kampen.

Admission to concerts is free; an offering will be taken at evening concerts. Performances at schools and worship services are not complete concerts.
