Prospective students welcomed to Blue Daze

Article Body

Concordia played host to prospective students and their parents Friday, Sept. 26, for a special group visit day. Blue Daze, as they are called, are aimed at giving attendees a better sense of what life at Concordia is like.

"We want to make sure our visitors understand what we're all about. We're die-hard blue, we're die-hard Concordia, and we're die-hard for Christ -- we're here today to celebrate that," said Roberts, director of undergraduate recruitment.

Over the course of the day, students attend a class of their choice, take a tour of campus, learn about academic standards at the university, and attend informal meetings with faculty members, program directors and coaches. Special meetings just for parents are also on the schedule for all Blue Daze.
