Children’s Day for Seward Schools

Language Arts Quiz Bowl
    Notes: Registration is $50 per team
    Location: Held at the Seward Civic Center (map)

Children’s Day for Surrounding Area Schools

    Notes: Free event; downloadable registration form coming in April 2009; all authors and illustrators presenting; other activities include Literacy on the Lawn, author talks given by pre-service Concordia students, art gallery exhibit, Bartels Rock & Gem Museum

Adult Professional Conference

Endowment Dinner
    Features: Authors Readers Theater (site), performed by authors Richard Peck, Sharon Weeks, Pam Munoz Ryan, Avi
    Notes: Begins at 5:30 p.m.; silent auction features a variety of items for every taste, including one-of-a-kind items donated by the festival's authors and illustrators as well as Concordia and local artists
