The Concordia University, Nebraska men's basketball team bagged a pair of victories and one loss during its recent three-game road swing.
The Bulldogs began the trip on Thursday against Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Mo. The Bulldogs dispatched the Preachers 85-44. Concordia then traveled to Leavenworth, Kan., to take on University of St. Mary. The Spires handed the Bulldogs their first loss of the season, 84-82.
On Saturday the Bulldogs would head back to state of Missouri to take on Hannibal-LaGrange College in Hannibal. Concordia notched a 60-51 victory over the Trojans. Senior Dusan Veselinovic led the Bulldogs, registering a double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds, and teammate Tyler Bredehoeft added 17 points toward the win.
The Bulldogs, now 4-1 on the season, return to Seward, Neb., for their home opener and a chance to avenge the one blemish on their record. The University of St. Mary Spires make their way to the Doghouse for a rematch on Wednesday, Nov. 12. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
