Dance team

The 12-member team of women, headed by two elected captains, practices for two hours every day and performs at home football and basketball games, pep assemblies and the Concordia Invitational Tournament.

Concordia’s dance team also holds a dance clinic for students in grades K-6. Membership on the dance team builds friendships among teammates and allows members to stay active and enhance their performance skills.

Tryouts for the dance team are held at the beginning of the school year. Those interested in trying out are informed of the tryout’s requirements and the critique being used. A judging panel of three faculty members and the two captains selects the members for the new season on the basis of performance in tryouts. Members must meet academic eligibility requirements to perform. No previous experience is necessary to try out.
