Concordia University track and field coach Dr. Kregg Einspahr has announced that Marcus Ruhl of Exeter, Neb., has committed to compete for the Bulldogs next year.

Ruhl, a recent graduate of Exeter-Milligan High School, brings an impressive resume to Concordia. Ruhl has been named the male track athlete of the year for the Timberwolves for three years in a row (2006-08). Ruhl set the record for the most career track points in school history.

Ruhl also brings notable academic accomplishments to the Bulldogs as a four-time member of the honor roll and a four-year member of the student council, including his senior year as student council president.

Ruhl is the son of Rusty and Lori Ruhl of Exeter, Neb. He plans to major in computer science while attending Concordia.
