Amanda Geidel has taught part-time at Concordia since 2001. Her primary teaching areas are in special education and psychology courses. Her special interests include moderate and severe disabilities, as well as preparing regular education teachers for the inclusion of special education students in their classrooms. Geidel is also involved in the supervision of student teachers.

Other
Prior to teaching at Concordia Geidel spent 6 years teaching both regular and special education students in both Lutheran and Public school settings. Most recently she taught special education at Seward Middle School for 3 years. During her time in graduate school at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, from 1998-2000, Geidel was also the Head Women's Soccer Coach here at Concordia.
