The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the Daktronics-NAIA Track and Field Scholar-Athletes. To be honored as a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must be a junior or senior academically and have a minimum 3.5 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale.
For the 2007-08 academic year, there is a total of 282 women's and 167 men's track and field athletes that have qualified for the honor. The ladies represent 80 different NAIA institutions and the men represent 71 institutions.
