The Concordia University, Nebraska track and field team hits the road for St. Louis, Mo., this week as it competes in the NAIA National Championships. The meet will last from Thursday through Saturday, with running events begin at 1 p.m. during the first two days and 10 a.m. on the final day.
Michael Saalfeld and Chris Tegtmeier will attempt to win outdoor national championships to match their indoor championships this year in the 800 and 3000 meter race walk respectively. Sophomore Luka Thor has his sights on top-five finishes in the 5,000 and 10,000 meter races. Thor competed last year at nationals and took seventh in the 5,000.
