Six stadium track records fell Friday, May 9, at the annual Twilight Meet hosted by Concordia University in Seward, Neb. The late-season meet often attracts the Midwest's finest runners because it offers one of the last chances to record qualifying marks for national meets.

The first record to fall came in the women's 400 meter dash when Regan Carlstrom from Doane College who won the event with a time of 56.12.

Amanda Godeman of Nebraska Wesleyan bested the time of the women's 3000 meter steeplechase with a winning time of 10:49.85, beating the previous record by almost 11 seconds.

The Mount Mercy men's 4 X 800 relay team set a new stadium record by being the first team to run such an event at Bulldog Stadium.

It began with Luka Thor, running in the 5000 meter run, shattering the former record, 15:00.54, set by Levi Ashley of Nebraska Wesleyan in 2002, with an incredible time of 14:47.23, narrowly missing the school record, 14:42.80, set by Dr. Kregg Einspahr in 1981.[D1]
