Jump Start Visit Days in 2008
The admission office will host Summer Jump Start Visit Days on Monday, July 21, and Monday, July 28. These special visit days allow confirmed students a chance to take care of their finances before they arrive for WOW Weekend and Orientation.
The days will start at 8:15 a.m. with registration and they end at 2:30 p.m. Please contact the admission office at 402-643-7233 if you have questions.
Jump Start Activities

- Receive a parking sticker (Financial Aid—Weller)
- See residence hall rooms (All residence halls)
- Financial aid advising (Financial Aid Office)
- Make account payments
- Discuss financial aid awards
- Apply for loans
- Sign up for Sallie Mae Monthly Budget Plan
- Explore other financing alternatives
- Questions about work-study eligibility
- Turn in requested FAFSA information
- Audition for choirs and ensembles (Music Building)
- Lunch in the cafeteria (Cafeteria – Janzow)
- Turn in Health Center forms (Health Center—Janzow)
- Reserve and pay for textbooks (Bookstore—Janzow)
- Make changes to class schedules (Freshman Advisors—Janzow)
- Questions about residence halls and meal plan (Student Life – Janzow)
- Learn about athletics and turn in medical forms (Athletic Department—PE Building)
- Visit Academic Support Services (Academic Support Services—Janzow)
- Meet with an Admissions Counselor (Admissions Office)
- Take a campus tour (Student Lounge—Janzow)
- Q & A Panel with Concordia Staff (TLEC Auditorium)
- Turn in course pre-registration or residence hall forms (Admissions Office—Weller)
- If not confirmed, pay $300 confirmation deposit (Admissions Office—Weller)
