The 2007-08 Division I & II Men's Basketball Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes have been announced with over 135 student-athletes recognized with this prestigious honor. In order to be a recipient of the NAIA-Daktronics Scholar-Athlete award, one must fulfill these requirements: the recipient must be a junior or above in academic standing; has been in attendance at the nominating institution a minimum of one full year of attendance; has a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 (on a 4.0 scale) at the time of nomination at the nominating institution; has been certified as eligible. Concordia University, Nebraska had two players named NAIA Academic All-Americans, Senior Benjamin Buhr and Junior Andy Miner.

Buhr, a senior business administration major from Lincoln, Neb., will graduate in May. He was also an Academic All-American following the 2006-07 season. Buhr led the Bulldogs from beyond the arc, hitting 68 three-point baskets during the season while averaging 14.6 points. For his career Buhr has hit 243 field goals from long range. 

Miner, a junior pre-med major from Seward, Neb., was the spark off the bench for the Bulldogs pulling down 88 rebounds as the third leading rebounder for Concordia with 2.9 boards per game. This is Miner's first Academic All-American selection.
