Profile Kevin Kromminga serves as the director of elementary education program at Concordia.
Prior to joining the university faculty, Kromminga gained 15 years of experience as a teacher on the elementary, high school and college levels. His administrative background includes serving as a high school counselor and assistant principal at Lutheran High School in Orange County Calif. Kromminga has a passion to teach and “prepare God’s people for works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up” (Ephesians 4:12).

Kromminga describes his goals for teaching, leading and learning as follows:

Leading: To assess and challenge the processes of the teacher lab and field experience program and produce excellent programming and placement for the students engaged in teacher education at Concordia University, Nebraska.
Learning: To continue and make contributions to lifelong learning while being a reflective practitioner.
