Profile Grace-Ann Dolak Has been at Concordia University, Nebraska since 1993. She has been involved in secondary and post secondary Lutheran education since 1972. Prior appointments have been at Martin Luther High School in Maspeth, NY, and Concordia University in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Other Dolak's research interests include metacognitive strategies in the college classroom. She describes her philosophical perspective as constructivist, whereby learners are involved in the construction of meaning, focusing on organized knowledge and cognitive strategies.
"With undergraduates, I engage learners by providing activities that move them to synthesize information and make connections," states Dolak. "With graduate students, I provide a forum for exploring the possibilities of using research to inform professional practice."
