A Concordia Christmas
Concordia's Chrismas concerts attract over two thousand lovers of music to our campus each year. The concerts, presented at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward, feature Concordia’s instrumental, choral, and handbell ensembles.
Three concert performances are scheduled for the first weekend of December. A holiday buffet and the Scholarship Parade of Homes round out the weekend event.
The 2008 "A Concordia Christmas" schedule:
- Saturday, December 6
- 3:00 p.m. — concert
- 4:30–6:00 p.m. — holiday buffet
- Sunday, December 7
- 12:30–4:30 p.m. — Scholarship Parade of Homes
- 3:00 p.m. — concert
- 4:30–6:30 p.m. — holiday buffet
- 7:00 p.m. — concert
Advance reservations are required for the concerts to insure adequate seating. Contact the university relations office at 800-535-5494, ext. 7240, in November to reserve concert seats.
