Concordia asks Seward community about wellness center

Concordia asks Seward residents how they might use the wellness center

Concordia mailed a survey to Seward residents in early December regarding their use of the university’s planned wellness center, part of the Health, Human Performance and Athletic Center now under construction on campus.

The questions on the survey covered topics such as current recreation habits, desired services and activities and when the facility should be open.

“This survey is an important tool for us to determine how the community desires to use the facilities and services that may be a part of our wellness center,” said Roger Brimmerman, director of development at the university. “While students, faculty and staff will be frequent users of the facility, we also want to know what our surrounding community needs.

“We are hoping for a large percentage of return on the survey,” said Brimmerman. “With a wide-ranging response from the community, we can more accurately gauge the future plan and serve the members of our community.”
