2007 All-Classic Team
Seward, Neb. - Melissa Tinkham of Concordia University, Nebraska highlighted the 2007 All-Classic team for second straight year.
Five players from the Eighth Annual Cattle Classic, co-sponsored by the Cattle National Bank and Trust Co., and Concordia University, Nebraska, were named to the All-Classic team. The complete squad is listed below.

Tinkham, a junior from Kearney, Neb., was named the Most Valuable Player of the Cattle Classic for the second straight year. In the opening game she had 20 points, going 6-of-8 from beyond the arc. She finished the two day event with 31 points and shot 42.1 percent from the three-point range (8-of-19). She also added five assists and four steals as the Bulldogs finished the two-day event 2-0.
Waldorf also went 2-0 at the 2007 Cattle Classic, while Avila and Haskell each dropped a pair of games.
Admission to the games was six canned food items or a $6 donation for adults and three canned food items or $2 donation for children. All money and food raised benefits the Blue Valley Community Action Food Pantry. Pac N Save of Seward matches all canned food donations.
