Is an internship required? Where do I start?
An internship is required for business, sports management, coaching, and exercise science. The Career Services Office will share information about internships as we learn of them. It is the responsibility of each student who needs or wants an internship to take the initiative in securing one.
How many hours are involved?
A minimum of 45 hours of on-site work must be completed for one hour of credit (40 hours for sports management, coaching, exercise science).
Who is elegible?
Students who have completed 60 hours of course work with a minimum of 15 hours in the major and the approval of the program director.
When can I complete it?
During any semester or during the summer.
